The Coin Bar is the real idea because Coin values add inside each reel and those reel totals then multiply from left to right. Several modest Coins stacked on one reel lift the whole product, so all three bonus rounds have genuine reach toward the 12,500× cap. Outside the bonuses the game is thin, because unbought base-game spins never show a Coin and the regular paytable is small. A strong bonus engine tied to a scatter-hunt base game and a 100× cheapest buy earns a competent score rather than a good one.
Supreme Zeus is best read as two payout systems sharing one 5×4 grid. Regular symbols pay across 1,024 ways and then cascade. CoinWays appears only in the bonus modes. There the Coin values are added within each reel, and those reel totals are multiplied from left to right. That order is the game’s real hook, because several modest Coins on one reel can materially change the product formed across the grid.

Everything that gives Supreme Zeus its reach is locked out of the spins most people make. Coins do not land in the base game, so the Coin Bar, the one mechanism here with a real path to the 12,500× cap, exists only inside three free-spin rounds and a 500× purchase mode. Outside them sits a cascading ways game whose best regular way pays less than the bet. My argument is that the Coin engine is strong enough to justify the game, and that the toll for reaching it, 100× for the cheapest bonus buy and no price at all for the 100-spin round, keeps it competent rather than good.
The frame is a familiar one: a 5×4 grid, 1,024 ways from the leftmost reel, and Super Cascades that clear every regular symbol of each winning type and refill while wins continue. Le Zeus, another Hacksaw Gaming Zeus slot, shares the god and runs a different feature system, which tells me the theme decides nothing here. What Supreme Zeus adds to the ways-and-cascades format is that it applies the ways formula a second time, to Coins. Ways are counted by multiplying the number of matching symbols on each reel. The Coin Bar multiplies the sum of Coin values on each reel instead, and a product of sums is the same thing as paying every Coin path the product of its own Coins and adding the paths together. Two Bronze Coins on each of the first three reels pay 2 × 2 × 2 = 8×, which is eight Coin paths at 1× each. It is a clean borrowing, and it is why the engine scales the way it does.
Not one of the ten regular symbols returns the stake on a single five-reel way. The five gems top out at 0.3×, harp, wreath and fruit bowl at 0.5×, ram head and pomegranate at 0.8×. The theoretical ceiling for one evaluation is a grid filled with pomegranates: 4 × 4 × 4 × 4 × 4 = 1,024 ways at 0.8× each, or 819.2×, before any cascade. That fantasy board is about 6.6% of the cap. At the other end, a three-reel gem way pays 0.1×, so it takes ten of them to give the bet back.
The comparison that matters most is this: the weakest CoinWay there is, one Bronze Coin on each of the first three reels, pays 1 × 1 × 1 = 1×, and that already beats the best single way the regular symbols can form. The base game is not where Supreme Zeus pays. Its job is to produce three FS symbols for Thunder Reign, four for Wrath of Olympus, or three Hot 100 symbols for Last Ascension, and between those triggers the regular symbols pay in fractions of the bet per way.
Coins add within a reel and multiply across the run from reel one, and that order decides what a Coin is worth. Take three reels each holding Coins worth 2, for 8×. A Bronze Coin stacked on reel one lifts that reel to 3 and the bar to 12×, half as much again from a 1× Coin. The same Bronze arriving alone on reel four extends the way and multiplies by 1, so the bar stays at 8×. A Bronze stacked on a reel inside the run always raises the product, and a Bronze that is the only Coin on a new reel at the end of the way adds nothing.
The top of the ladder needs far fewer Coins than the grid holds. Bronze is fixed at 1×, Silver runs from 2× to 4×, Gold from 5× to 10×. Five reels holding one Gold each, valued 10, 10, 5, 5 and 5, multiply to exactly 12,500×. Five 10× Golds would make 100,000×, eight times the cap, and the maximum-win stop would end the round at 12,500× and discard whatever spins remained. Three minimum Golds across the first three reels already make 125×. With five Coins out of twenty positions enough to overshoot, the cap is what bounds the top end, and that is why all three bonus rounds have genuine reach.
The same arithmetic punishes a gap. A first, second or third reel with no Coin means no CoinWay forms, and every Coin on the grid pays nothing for that spin. A gap on reel four strands whatever sits on reel five. The bar then resets before the next spin, so a crowded reel never carries forward.
Against a fixed cap, every buy has a hard ceiling I can express as a multiple of its price. Thunder Reign at 100× can return at most 125 times its cost. Wrath of Olympus at 200× halves that to 62.5 times, for the same ten starting spins and the same retriggers, two FS symbols adding two spins and three adding four. The second 100× buys at least one Coin on every spin. One Coin cannot form a CoinWay by itself, because the run needs Coins on three adjacent reels from reel one, so the guarantee raises the floor without ensuring a Coin Bar on any spin. Thunder Reign is the sensible entry. Wrath is a defensible upgrade only for someone who values that denser floor more than half the ceiling ratio.
Sacred FeatureSpins is the purchase I would skip. At 500× it lets Coins land while FS symbols cannot, and its best case is 25 times its cost, a fifth of Thunder Reign's ratio. Thunder Reign's buy works out at 10× per starting spin, and a single Sacred FeatureSpin costs fifty times that. BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 5× is a different kind of product: Coins do not land in it, so whatever it changes, it cannot open the Coin Bar on the spin itself.
Last Ascension is the most interesting round, and the menu has no way to sell it. It starts with 100 spins, ten times Thunder Reign's start, raises the chance of forming CoinWays, and removes FS symbols, so it never retriggers. Three Hot 100 scatters in the base game are the only door, which puts the longest round behind the weakest phase. The cap still applies: a Last Ascension round that reaches 12,500× ends there, and its remaining spins are discarded.
Before any of this, the return setting deserves a look. At 96.39% the house edge is 3.61%. At 86.32%, the lowest setting, it is 13.68%, nearly four times as large, with 94.3% and 92.31% between them. The Coin Bar arithmetic is identical at every setting, and the long-run cost of each spin is not.
The game suits someone who wants a high-volatility bonus game built on one clear piece of arithmetic, who is content to treat the base game as a scatter hunt, and who has the 100× Thunder Reign buy available and judges a 125-times-cost ceiling worth it. Anyone who wants the base game to pay its way between features should look elsewhere: without Coins and with a 0.8× top way, the regular symbols are not built for that. The Coin Bar is a genuinely good idea, and all three rounds inherit it. The frame around it is thin, the cheapest Coin access costs 100 bets, and the longest round cannot be bought, which is why I place Supreme Zeus in the competent band rather than the good one.
Verdict
The add-then-multiply Coin Bar gives all three bonus rounds real reach to the 12,500× cap. A Coin-free base game with a 0.8× top way and a 100× cheapest buy keeps Supreme Zeus competent rather than good.
